Husband Tag

So I have been tagged by Staci. This seems like a fun one.



What is his name? Curtis James

How long have you been married? A little over a year and a half

How long did you date? Hmmm...Off and on for 2 1/2 years before we got married.

How old is he? 26

Who eats more? Curt. Sometimes (OK all the time) I am made fun of when we go out to eat because I'm ready for a box when it still looks like a complete meal.

Who said I love you first? Curt, although I was the type of person where those words were my signal to end the relationship (which he had figured out) so that point was almost when we were engaged. Man, I did my best to scare boys off, didn't I?

Who is smarter? We're both smart. I was the sick nerd who loved taking the SATs, the ACT, and the AP tests, and in a recent post we proved Curt was smart.

Whose temper is worse? Hmmmm...I can't say we really get worked up about anything except for my back seat driving (which is really bad).

Who does the laundry? We both do our own, except that I do all the whites because I have some OCDness about how they are to be folded.

Who does the dishes? It goes back and forth. I love having a dishwasher!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Looking at the foot of the bed, I do.

Who pays the bills? Curt has since we got married, but we're going to pull a switcheroo on that when we get settled in Michigan. It's a testament to how much I trust Curt to have him do the finances. I am a MAJOR control freak and money is one of the things I've kept hold of the tightest. It's how I made it through school with no debt.

Who cooks dinner? Mostly Curt. This is something I want to change though, because I don't like feeling like a failure (which I do in this area).

Who drives when you are together? I have the weekdays, Curt has the weekends. But maybe that will change since we have two cars now.

Who is more stubborn? We are both VERY stubborn. But I think I might win on this one.

Whose parents do you see the most? Mine since we've lived in the same place as them since we've been married and his are across the country. We'll have to see how that changes with the move.

Who proposed? No proposal. I would have puked or died or something. We just decided.

Who has more friends? Probably Curt, he's a much more social being than I am. And I'm pretty bad at keeping in touch with people. Thank goodness for this new blog world.

Who has more siblings? Curt has 4 sibling, I have 5.

Who wears the pants in the family? Both of us. We have some strange role reversal sometimes (as I love and therefore hog, anything construction/remodel related), but its pretty even and perfect.

Again, I don't think that I will tag anyone specific because I am really unsure of how many people look at my blog regularly...and I have issues with assigning people things. Maybe someday I'll get over that.
