Europe Trip: Positano, Italy

On Wednesday our ship docked in Salerno.
Instead of staying and exploring there, we bought ferry tickets to take us a couple towns down the coast to Positano.
Oh my heavens, that place is a feast for the eyes. It's small, but around every corner I just had to take another picture.

We climbed and climbed and went all around. We overheard some other touristy types expressing disappointment in the overcast day, but I thought it actually improved the day.

{of course, pizza and gelato again. This pizza had carmelized onion and bacon, so delicious}

While waiting for the ferry ride back we were thankful for the ponchos we had as it downpoured for a little bit.

On our ferry ride back to Salerno it dropped many of the riders off at another town named Amalfi (all of these towns are part of an area called the Amalfi Coast).
I was happy to get a look at another cute town up close as we went in and out.
We saw many other tiny towns with their cliff hugging dwellings from farther away, so I really loved the water travel.

Back in Salerno we wandered around a little bit before we went back on the ship.
