Our first cruise stop was Cannes, France.
It was a great place to play tourist...cute, clean, walkable, small.
The famous film festival had just taken place but was done and out.
It didn't have a port big enough for the ship to park at so we were ferried to shore by smaller boats.
We were only there for a couple hours, but I felt like that was plenty of time to get the taste of it.

Bonus: we had enough time to read by the pool for a while before the first formal night.
